Has it really been five years since 9/11? It still seems so clear in my mind that I find it hard to believe that much time has past. I remember being glued to the news channels for days on end just trying to soak up any information they were giving. I remember the confusion and solemness that came over everybody. It was an incredible event that I hope will not be forgotten.

I also remember that the was the day we had an ultrasound of Thing1. We were about 12 weeks along ? I think ? and we had a chance to get an ultrasound as part of some study. I remember wondering what kind of world my son was going be living in.
