Apparently, It’s Christmas
I can’t believe it. Last night we took the Things to see Grandma and Grandpa and do a little trick-or-treating. On our way home we were listening to the radio and we heard Christmas music. And not just one song, either. They played two of them back to back, after the second one started we changed the channel so I don’t know if the trend continued, but I suspect it did.
Why do we have to keep pushing up the launch of Christmas? Why can’t we be content to wait for the season to arrive and enjoy it properly? I mean, my personal preference is to wait until after Thanksgiving, but I don’t mind too much if it starts a little before. But this was Halloween night for crying out loud. Not even November 1st! Patience is a virtue, people. That applies to waiting for the Christmas season to begin the celebration.
