The following embarrassing moment occurred last Sunday.

We were at church and the kids had been surprisingly good for a change. No fighting or causing too much ruckus. The Wife and I were beginning to think that we had made it. Time for the closing prayer.

During a small pause in the prayer ? just to make sure it was quiet ? Thing 1 (age 4 �) decides to let one rip. That’s one of his new “things.” He thinks farting is great fun and always good for a laugh.

Unfortunately, he is right, because everyone around us started their silent chuckles. A small pocket in the congregation all quivering with suppressed laughter.
