Football Fever
So football season is nearly upon us. This leaves me in a state of quandary. You see, I don’t have TV. That is to say, I have no TV service ? cable, satelite, aerial, or otherwise. I just can’t justify the cost of cable. Satelite is not much better. I have considered aerial but that would require me to purchase a $50 antenna for a house I will be leaving come April. And besides that, more and more football is being broadcast on non-aerial channels these days. Even Monday Night Football has moved on.
I really don’t know what to do. I love football, but without service I cannot get my fix. This year will mark three seasons without football if I don’t find a way to get coverage. That is far too long.
I had high hopes for finding games via BitTorrent or similar means, but my searches have, so far, been fruitless. I need some bone-crunching, teeth-rattling hits and soon. I know I will be able to catch the occasional game, but it really isn’t the same.
Am I just searching in the wrong places?
