One of the great benefits of graduating is that family and friends take the opportunity to shower you with gifts. One of the gifts I received was a Nintendo Wii.

Regular readers may recall that I have played with a Wii previously and enjoyed the experience tremendously. Well, that is still the case and I am loving my new found free-time to play a bit more than I used to manage.

As I said before the Wii is really a fantastic gaming system. It is great to finally see someone try to make playing games fun again. Not that the old way was bad, mind you. It’s just that this way is so much fun. Actually using your body to mimic real-world actions to control virtual characters is, simply put, awesome. I haven’t had a ton of time to play yet, what with buying a house and getting ready to move in, but I can’t wait to settle down next week and start playing Zelda (thoughtfully loaned to me by my brother-in-law).

I know that they are still hard to come by, but if you have the chance to snag one I highly recommend it.
