Project Info:

This project had a strange requirement to accommodate. IntelliServ is part of a larger corporation, so control of their website is not possible. They are given an area on the main corporate website and are allowed to customize a portion of the page. So the redesign had to deal with a small footprint to work in and had to coordinate with the corporate site so that it didn’t look out of place.

I had to use a color scheme that wouldn’t clash with the corporate website and yet still represented IntelliServ. The two color schemes were similar but I had to make compromises to get them to work well together. My design is the larger portion of the page. The sidebar and header were controlled by the corporate parent.

The banner image at the top would change every few seconds and the text would also change. This allowed them to advertise several items of important news in a limited space. This banner rotation was done entirely in JavaScript.
